Throughout these three classes you will learn to mix paint using a palette knife, create various hues and values with a simple palette, and explore the effects of adding a medium to your paint.
We will explore this beautiful palette in depth, and I’ll teach you how to create a variety of grays using complementary colors, orange and blue.
I will supply all the necessary materials, except for the paint and a sketchbook. The sketchbook will serve as a personal reference book, where you can organize your color swatches and artwork. The sketchbook is not necessary but fun to have.
You will need Golden Heavy Body Acrylic paints, one tube of each:
Cadmium Orange
Paynes Gray
Titanium White
Class will take place on Saturdays, 10 am-12 pm at Upstairs Studio, 24 Main Street, Second Floor, Montpelier, VT.
Unfortunately, this space is not handicapped accessible.
