So much to say~Paint Parties, New Work in Cool Places!
It's that time of year again. Currently it is 29 degrees, snowing and grey. The perfect day to cuddle up on the couch with a glass of wine, a bowl of chilli and dive right in to a blog post. I thought I would start off with this whimsical little ditty above. This painting will be the subject for my next Paint Party, January 18, 6:30 at my studio in Montpelier. Tiny Little Hand Painted Glass Hot Air Balloon Ornaments
I had to put a shot of these little gems in here! Aren't they sweet? I found these adorable plain glass ornaments (not plastic, yay!) at a local craft store. I decided to do an acrylic pour on one to see what it looked like. Turns out it looked just like a hot air balloon to me. I decided to turn them over, glue a little metal ring on top and go bananas with some gold, silver and glitter! Voila!
You can find these little bad boys at Art Etc. in Northfield Vermont. Along with some of my smaller acrylic poured paintings.

I have been trying to get my artwork out there and this month I feel like I have reached a goal.
