There may be nothing I love more than spending time at the dinner table or on the couch talking to my kids. It really does make my heart swell just thinking about it. Fortunately they are young enough that we are all still under the same roof. I love having my little pod close and spending time with them. If I crave this time when my kids are home with me I can only imagine how much more it will mean to spend time with them when they are grown. Make time for Mom.

Getting creative actually helps to reduce stress. If you have never taken a class from me I am all about the process of creativity and less interested in the outcome. I encourage people to explore the materials and really enjoy your time making. You know how many people I have taught in the past year that have wanted to take an art class for twenty years but never got around to it?!! Give the gift of creating!

Materials needed:
11x14" or 9x12" canvas
Red, blue, yellow, black and white acrylic paint.
Paint palette-paper plate, freezer paper or pie tin.
Cup of water and paper towels.
